The key is observation. This work is an invitation to view nature through an artist's eyes. By reducing the number of firings, the challenge lies in the confidence of the brushstroke and the accurate interpretation of volumes from the very first contact with the porcelain.

In this video tutorial, I invite you to explore the magic of nature through the project ""Overlapping of Sheets""Through eight step-by-step guided chapters, you will learn to depict the passage of time in autumn foliage through a vibrant interplay of layers, colors, and realistic technique. We will work with drying oil, vehicle 220, and clove essence, allowing for fluid handling of the paint. This project is designed to loosen your hand, master the use of volume, and capture details as delicate as the water droplets resting on the leaves.".
1. Preparation and composition of the work
Layout of the design in plan, distribution of layers and transfer of the drawing onto the porcelain plate.
2. Structure and superposition technique
Strategies for building three-dimensionality by working visual planes from the background towards the main leaves in the foreground.
3. Managing the autumnal botanical palette
Selection and mixing of pigments (ochres, burgundies, dry greens and terracotta) to achieve chromatic variety in the foliage.
4. Color transitions and gradients
I use soft brushstrokes to integrate different shades within the same sheet without losing sharpness.
5. Construction of ribs and tactile textures
Defining the relief on the edges, folds and main ribs to give character and dynamism to the piece.
6. Water droplet effect and transparencies
Technique for painting dewdrops using the reserve of full lights and the work of projected shadows.
7. Contrasts of depth and coupling shadows
